The sizing of the lagoons shown below may actually lead to more area being proposed than 20,000 square meters. An adequate case study area must be compared between the 3 options analyzed … and the per meter costs may then be extrapolated later when funding stage is reached. Please keep in mind that the cost comparison here may not include all costs and is simply an early review of construction options in pursuit of the final solution which is being worked on by the Fellowship Team. It is clear that the costs of the pure synthetic liner solution are significantly lower, which is, in itself a suitable resolution of the analysis at this stage in relation to perceived liner options … to draw some intermediate decisions about the best route to take from here in the planning.
