Invitation to Universities for Submissions to the Sustainable Vision Academic Journal
Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Graduate Students,
The Jacquelyn Jestine Sanders Foundation is pleased to announce a call for submissions to the Fall edition of the Sustainable Vision Academic Journal. We are dedicated to providing an international platform for the dissemination of innovative research addressing critical in-country issues, with a particular focus on sustainable development.
We invite graduate students from universities in infrastructure challenged countries to submit their reviewed research work. Our journal seeks to highlight and promote research aimed at solving pressing problems related to:
- Off-Grid Infrastructure: Innovative solutions and advancements in providing reliable and sustainable energy, water, and sanitation services to remote and underserved communities.
- Tree Conservancy: Research focusing on strategies for the preservation, restoration, and sustainable management of forested areas, including urban forestry initiatives.
- Wetlands: Studies on the conservation and rehabilitation of wetlands, addressing their ecological importance, biodiversity, and role in climate resilience.
- Agroforestry: Research exploring integrated land-use management combining agriculture and forestry to create more productive, sustainable, and resilient land-use systems.
We are particularly interested in research that demonstrates practical solutions and positive outcomes, reflecting the impact and potential for scalability within the region.
Submission Guidelines:
- Eligibility: Open to graduate students currently enrolled in universities.
- Review Process: All submissions should be reviewed and approved by the student’s academic advisor or a faculty member.
- Format: APA Standards for References. PDF Document format.
- Deadline: Submissions must be received by July 31, 2024 for possible inclusion in the Fall edition.
Selected works will be published in the Fall edition of the Sustainable Vision Academic Journal, providing authors with an online, independent, and noprofit platform to share their findings with an international audience of academics, practitioners, and policymakers.
We are excited to support and showcase the research efforts of emerging scholars committed to advancing sustainable development in their home countries. Your contributions are invaluable in fostering knowledge exchange and driving positive change globally.
