November 12 – Lanham, MD – The JJSF announces the first annual Jacquelyn Sanders Foundation Excellence Award. The first recipient of this award was Sharon Lipford, nurse at Doctor’s Community Hospital. Mrs. Lipford demonstrated such a high level of compassion during Jacquelyn’s care in 2018 that it was decided that she would be the very first recipient of the annual excellence award. Mrs Lipford received her award and the accompanied donation to her chosen charity at the monthly Doctor’s Community Hospital Volunteer Association Meeting on November 12, 2019. The Family Restoration & Healing Center received a $100 donation in the name of Sharon Lipford as part of the Excellence Award.
The Foundation thanks Mrs. Lipford for her passionate care during Jackie’s hospitalization in 2018. She earned the recognition and stands as a shining example of excellent and compassionate care.
