On February 13th the momentous occassion arose that we received formal agreement with the University of Antananarivo – to execute our Fellowship Program this year.
Our Goals are optimistic. Our Goals are aggressive! We want to modernize the Water Management Infrastructure on the largest Campus in Madagascar. This is an important Task! We take it as mission critical to keep the big Picture in mind. this Program is about setting an example for other projects in Madagascar to follow. Yes – if all goes well – by next year we will 1. be building new, modernized rainwater and wastewater infrastructure on Campus – improving the lives of the teachers and students directly! But equally importantly – we are also:
2. Going to produce an excess of usable water for advancing the Tree Conservancy efforts at Antananarvio.
3. Building up a Case Study for making the next Site Remediation projects even more successful!
Congratulations to the students and professors that will now benefit from participation in this landmark cooperation between the Jacquelyn Sanders Foundation and the University!
for those inclined to contribute to our Fellowship Program: We NEED your financial assistance for sure. Our goal is to continue to support students in developing nations on projects just like this one in Antananarivo. We will only succeed at achieving our goals – through the generous support of our donors!
